The process

How dermatology works

Dermatologists can treat most common skin, hair and nail issues from photos and a description of the condition. You'll answer a few basic questions, provide a brief medical history, describe your symptoms, and upload photos of the condition you're seeking treatment for. Within 72 hours — usually within 24 — a board-certified dermatologist sends you a diagnosis and treatment plan, with any prescription sent to your preferred pharmacy.

You can message your dermatologist through the portal for up to 30 days after your appointment if you have a follow-up question — at no additional cost.
