After international exhibitions in the beginning of the 1990’s Leeav became an international leader and recognized pioneer with the ultimate line of UML’s for all drive systems and speeds of elevator controllers. These UML’s are acknowledged to be user friendly and very reliable.
During the same period the company developed sophisticated Monitoring/Management systems for elevators.
Since 2004 Leeav has developed a fully programmable and advanced UML-51 to allow a full range of control, MR, and MRL, including an automatic evacuation with a backup.
In 2017 Leeav renewed and modernized the ultimate mature line
UML-21/31_V2 which is now UML-21/31_V3 based on recent software and hardware advancement.

1. Phase I: A three (3) position (on, off, bypass) key operated switch will be provided at a (main, lobby) floor of the elevator. When the switch is placed in the “on” position, or if the smoke sensors (provided by others) are activated, the elevator will return non-stop to the main floor.
A) An elevator traveling away from the main floor will reserve at the next available floor, without opening the doors, and proceed to the main floor without stopping for car or hall calls.
B) Door reopening devices for power operated doors (Rule 112.5 of the ANSI 17.1 Code) and EN-81. which may be affected by smoke or heat so to prevent the door closing will be rendered inoperative.
