Union Mission's Don & Kaye Kole Magdalene House plays a pivotal role in our community by providing emergency shelter for women with children. Additionally, case management, counseling, and support services are given to the women. Union Mission opened the Day Center at Grace House to provide an environment offering recreation and relaxation to the homeless searching for stability and safety after carrying the burdens of trauma, substance abuse and homelessness. They are given basic daytime needs such as food, and clothing, along with referrals and access to resources, supportive services, and shelter from weather conditions. Parker's House was opened by Union Mission in 2022 as a shelter for women with a 90-day program to help them find safe and stable housing. It is the only home for women in this area.
