“Shoreline Technology was born from a simple, yet deeply frustrating experience. Years of working in the tech trenches for logistics, utilities, and energy companies had equipped me with a deep understanding of how technology works – and how it can sometimes fail.

One day, while waiting in line at a big-box tech store, I overheard a customer struggling to explain a computer issue. The “support person” was clearly dismissive and agitated, offering no real solutions. They even suggested the customer’s computer was beyond repair and needed to be replaced.

Knowing the issue was likely easily resolved, I couldn’t help but intervene. I explained a simple solution to the customer, who was incredibly grateful. Unfortunately, my unsolicited advice didn’t sit well with the store employee, and I was promptly shown the door.

Driving home, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this kind of experience was far too common. Many people in our community were likely facing similar frustrations with technology, feeling overwhelmed and unsupported.

That’s when I decided to create Shoreline Technology – a tech support company built on a foundation of honesty, patience, and kindness. We believe that technology should empower, not frustrate.
